Katyn Memorial and World Trade Center Friday, May 05, 2000
The Katyn Memorial in Jersey City, NJ is a beautiful but disturbing statue of a soldier with a bayonet through his back. It is a tribute to the thousands of Polish soldiers taken into the Katyn woods and slaughtered at the beginning of World War II.
How ironic that it should stand directly across the Hudson River from the site where thousands lost their lives on 9/11/2001.

Tapestry of Nations Parade - EPCOT Wednesday, December 19, 2001
One prerequisite for marching in the Tapesty of Nations Parade has got to be a strong back. Here is a colorful puppet with a puppet of its own.

Italy at EPCOT Friday, December 21, 2001
This is one of the performers at the Italy pavilion at EPCOT. After the show she (I think it's a she) came out on the balcony with bubbles blowing through the air.

Steam Engine - Mount Dora, Florida Thursday, December 20, 2001
About 45 minutes north west of Orlando is Mount Dora home of a very pleasant steam railroad. I took this shot as the steam locomotive was being run around the train to prepare for another run.
